Background:

Dr. Heidrun Ludwig played a key role in establishing the Center for Teacher Education and Didactic Research and in developing a graduate school at Friedrich Schiller University Jena. Subsequently, she served as Managing Director of the UPGRADE Graduate School within the framework of the Rhineland-Palatinate Excellence Initiative. For over a decade, she directed the DFG-funded graduate school "UpGrade" at the University of Koblenz-Landau. Most recently, she was the Academic Director of the Center for Graduate Support (ZGaPL) within the Department of Higher Education Development at the Robert Koch Institute Kaiserslautern-Landau, where she was responsible for career development and professorial appointments.
